MEVLANA POETRY COMPETITION AWARD CEREMONY

The poetry competition on "Love, Compassion and Tolerance" organized within our school was held with the intense participation of our students. The first three of the poems were determined among more than 150 poems. We crowned the award ceremony of the selected poems with the "Dramatic Poetry Concert", which also included the poems of Mevlana and the distinguished poets of our literature. We carried out an effective study that makes our students feel the teachings, literature and spirituality of Mevlana. Our MYP coordinator, middle school principal and vice principal read the first three poems and presented gifts to our students on the stage. Last year, we created the first poetry anthology of NUN Middle School as a result of our poetry studies, which we started with the name of Yunus Emre Poetry Competition. This year, we have created the second of our anthology with the valuable works of our students. We aim to make these studies more comprehensive by taking them beyond the boundaries of the school in the coming year.
