Prayer Focus Program with Merve Gülcemal
To foster awareness, understanding, and continuity in the practice of prayer among our Grade 3 and 4 students, a special initiative titled “Prayer Focus Program” was launched this term. As part of this program, author and educator Merve Gülcemal visited our school.
Through an engaging storytelling session centered on the theme of prayer, Merve Gülcemal shared insights on the role and meaning of worship in daily life. The narrative helped students realize that prayer is not merely a responsibility but a guiding value that brings order to life, promotes inner discipline, and encourages conscious living.
This experience strengthened students’ connection to the spiritual significance of prayer, emphasized the importance of developing consistent worship habits, and instilled values such as patience and perseverance. Conducted within the framework of values education, the event offered a lasting and meaningful learning experience that supported students’ spiritual development.
