The Second of the Inter-High School Initiative Academy Symposium was Held

Hosted by NUN High School, the second Inter-School Initiative Academy Symposium was held on 16–17 May under the theme “Seeking the Self: Trends and Identity Formation.”
The program brought together approximately 200 students from 16 different high schools, along with distinguished guests including Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş; lawyer, actor, author, and Member of Parliament Bahadır Yenişehirlioğlu; President of the Green Crescent Mehmet Dinç; and writer and journalist Ali Saydam.
Following the protocol speeches, committee sessions commenced in which students presented their academic papers prepared within the framework of the main theme. During these sessions, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on identity formation, individualization, and contemporary social trends. The sessions provided a valuable platform for students to develop their critical thinking skills and to articulate their ideas within an academic context.
On the second day of the symposium, the general assembly presentations were held. Following the presentations, students experienced social activities, workshops, and a closing concert. At the end of the program, awards were presented for the best paper, best speaker, and outstanding presentations as a result of academic evaluations.
The two-day intensive academic program concluded with the presentation of the symposium proceedings booklet, compiled from students’ original academic work, to all participants, marking the successful completion of a rich and multifaceted academic experience.
