“Designing My Book Cover” Activity

As part of lunchtime activities on both campuses, the “Designing My Book Cover” workshop supported students’ writing and visual design skills. Participants were encouraged to blend a writer’s imagination with an illustrator’s visual approach.
Students turned the original stories they envisioned into tangible book cover designs and were introduced to core design principles. By choosing colors, symbols, and illustrations to match their texts, they strengthened composition, color harmony, and conceptual thinking.
Sharing their stories with peers further supported public expression and communication through artistic production, transforming the school environment into a vibrant social and artistic space. This activity was planned to assess students' productivity beyond theoretical knowledge, transforming the school environment into a hands-on social and artistic sharing space.
