KAĞITHANE WORKSHOP TRIP
NUN Middle School Turkish Department made a trip to Kağıthane Paper Workshop with 5th grade students. Students learned the paper making methods in the Ottoman period and realized how much effort is put to produce a sheet of paper. In this context, they had the chance to gain an awareness on not wasting and the importance of recycling. After the trip, they completed the day with the knowledge and experiences they acquired at different points with the travel article they wrote about their trip in line with their Turkish lesson acquisitions. And our photo was printed on paper made in the workshop.
