Acceptance of the National Anthem and Çanakkale Victory Program

Our elementary school students organized a special program to commemorate the acceptance of the National Anthem written by our national poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy. At the event, which took place in the school’s conference hall, the students expressed their love and respect for our national anthem. Being discussed on the writing of the national anthem and what it reflects on Turkish history in their lessons throughout the week, our students, who had information about the process of writing the anthem and its place celebrated this day with great enthusiasm.

 Then, our students who performed a drama show in the March 18th Çanakkale Victory Program staged the events experienced in Çanakkale. These meaningful activities contributed to students gaining the awareness of understanding the spirit of national struggle and passing it on to future generations.
