One of the guests of the Family Academy was Dr. Betül Özel Çiçek with her speech titled “Women in Abrahamic Religions”.
In our program organized with the contributions of KADEM, KADEM Board Member Betül Özel Çiçek discussed the concept of “woman”, which has always been a subject of discussion in various religions and cultures throughout history, woman's position as a daughter, wife and mother, their rights and obligations in religious and social life from past to present.
Revealing the transformation of the perception of women in history and in three religions, and how and in what direction this place has evolved over time, Çiçek made a presentation with an instructive and guiding content especially on the place of women in society, religion and culture in the historical process.
