Fatih Cultural Trip
As part of the theme Where We Are in Place and Time, Grade 4 students visited Kariye Mosque and Fatih Mosque, guided by Fatih Nida Üye.
Through explanations about the history, transformations, and traces of past eras in these buildings, students realized that these places are not merely architectural works but significant heritage reflecting our cultural history. They connected past and present and reflected on the role of cultural heritage in shaping the identity of societies.
This trip reinforced students’ learning outcomes by allowing them to observe and experience concepts on-site, helping them relate classroom knowledge to real-life contexts.
