“What Makes You A Global Citizen” Class Activity

As part of the IB Diploma Programme English B curriculum, students examined the concept of global citizenship through diverse and interactive learning experiences. Informative videos, listening activities, reading comprehension tasks, and writing exercises enabled students to analyze the concept in depth. Working collaboratively, students created original posters exploring “the key qualities that make NÛN students global citizens.” 

These hands‑on activities supported long‑term retention of learning, vocabulary development, and the ability to construct and defend core arguments. The visual works produced during the course were displayed on the school noticeboard, transforming it into a shared space for teachers and students alike. 

By creating an open platform where diverse perspectives could be expressed and discussed, the exhibition highlighted qualities that nurture students as global citizens. It fostered social awareness and stood as an exemplary model of inclusivity, where ideas from different age groups and backgrounds were welcomed, respected, and enriched through interaction.
