Ekrem Demirli, who is known for his deep studies in the field of Sufism, was the guest of the Family Academy, which is followed with great interest by the parents.
In our Family Academy with Ekrem Demirli, we held a program on Fasting and Life, where we welcomed the holy month of Ramadan.
Demirli explained the significance of Ramadan, which is a divine treasure for the ummah of Prophet Muhammad bestowed by Allah. He shared with us the meaning and importance of fasting, Ramadan and other worships. Ekrem Demirli stated that “One may reflect in Ramadan. The basis of this should be the differentiation of fasting from other acts of worship. Fasting is not the carrier of other acts of worship or vice versa. All worship must be done for twelve months. We need to understand the Qur'an, prayer, zakat, hajj and fasting correctly and evaluate one by one. So they change our lives.”
