World Water Day
With the activities prepared within the scope of World Water Day, a social experiment was carried out in order for the students to understand the importance of water. In this experiment, our students realized that we need to save water by gaining awareness about the difficulties in reaching water in countries with water crisis and the fact that the water they reach is not healthy.
Besides, the importance of water in every field was emphasized by creating panels with the contents prepared under the titles of “Water-Science”, “Water-Development”, “Water-Literature” and “Water-Islam”.
Last year, a social responsibility project called “Children Bringing Water” was launched with NUN Water Ambassadors, who have a representative in each class. Students will use the donations they have collected in the stand they will open for this project to drill a water well through the Turkiye Diyanet Foundation.
