We commemorated Canakkale Victory and our Martyrs
Middle school and high school students commemorated the victory of Canakkale and martyrs, the acceptance of Turkish national anthem by preparing a special programme.
Our students prepared an emotional stage performance program which is special for March 18 Canakkale Victory and Martyrs Commemoration Day.
In the beginning, the chorus told us the war of Canakkale effectively through local and traditional melodies. Later in the oratorio show, they shared poetically the advices of heroes who fought in Canakkale war and who put their stamps on history.
Mothers of our students wrote letters as if their sons had fought in the war of Canakkale. Our students read these letters loudly which made everyone feel the spirit of Canakkale. These letters really pulled at everyone’s heartstrings.
The program concluded with presenting the gifts to our students who are ranked in the poem competition which is about the theme of Canakkale.
