Çanakkale Trip

Our high school students embarked on a learning experience in Çanakkale and the Troy Museum, aiming to enhance their historical knowledge, deepen their understanding, and witness cultural heritage firsthand.
They visited the memorials to martyrs and explored the sites of the National Struggle – lands symbolizing profound love for homeland, sacrifice, and resistance. This direct, on-site experience allowed students to grasp historical events with greater depth.
In the Ancient City of Troy, a civilization intertwined with mythology and archaeology, they examined the environment and the traces of this ancient residence from a contemporary perspective.
This trip cultivated historical empathy, fostered on-site learning, enhanced cultural heritage recognition, and sharpened critical thinking skills. Simultaneously, it strengthened feelings of social belonging rooted in a common historical memory.
Carried out in accordance with the understanding that "He who does not know his past cannot build his future," this program was instrumental in fostering lasting learning and meaningful connections.
