ÇAMLICA MOSQUE AND ISLAMIC CIVILIZATIONS MUSEUM
Çamlıca Mosque and Museum of Islamic Civilizations tour with NUN Middle School 6th grade students started with a visit to the mosque. Çamlıca Mosque Imam Ahmet Özdemir welcomed our students and introduced the features of the mosque down to its fine details. In the booklet specially prepared for our students, the activities inside the mosque were completed and the learned information was reinforced. During the visit to the Museum of Islamic Civilizations, the works attributed to our Prophet, the Quran and its Enclosures, architectural elements in Islamic Art and many other works were combined with the in-class curriculum to gain different perspectives.
