Çamlıca Mosque Trip

Within the scope of the “Prayer” subject, which is the 2nd unit of the Religious Culture Moral Knowledge course, a trip to the “Great Çamlıca Mosque and Museum of Islamic Civilizations” was held. Students visited a large mosque, learned about the interior, and performed prayer in practice. By getting to know the places and the architectural structure of the mosque from the teacher in charge, the in-mosque activities in our trip booklets were followed. During the Museum of Islamic Civilizations visit, the Ab-ı Hayat installation, the artworks attributed to the Prophet Muhammad, the Holy Quran and its Enclosures, Architectural elements in Islamic Art, and many other works were examined and reconciled with the in-class curriculum to provide different perspectives.
