Beykoz Glass and Crystal Museum Visit - Parents
NÛN Middle School Department of Individuals and Societies organized a parent trip to Beykoz Glass and Crystal Museum open to the attendance of all middle school parents. In this special event, the parents had the opportunity to explore the valuable collection of the museum and experience the impressive world of glass art.
The trip allowed the parents to observe the stages of how glass is made by participating in a glass workshop and had the chance to discover by hand how glass works. Accompanied by the professional glass cutters, they learned glass processing techniques step by step and contributed to the process of producing their own glass works. Parents observed the stages of shaping, coloring, and cooling the heated glass, an experience of a special process intertwined with art and handicrafts.
