BURSA TRIP
BURSA TRIP
NUN Middle School 7th grade students visited our ancient capital Bursa. The trip started in Cumalıkızlık and continued with a visit to Emir Sultan Mosque and Tomb, Orhan Gazi and Osman Gazi Tombs and the Great Mosque. Our students had the opportunity to observe the progress of the Kayı Turks towards Bursa, the conquest of Bursa, and the important traces and spiritual personalities left by the first six Ottoman sultans who were buried in Bursa, at the Panorama 1326 Bursa Conquest Museum, the largest fully panoramic museum in the world.
They visited GUHEM (Gokmen Space and Aviation Training Center) to observe latest developments. They gained knowledge and experience in space, aviation and technology at the center, which adopts an up-to-date and dynamic learning approach that encourages individual effort with applications focused on inquiry, experimentation and discovery.
