Sports Is Here
Within the “Sports Is Here” series, a comprehensive introduction to archery, a discipline with deep roots in Turkish culture, was delivered. Some students who are licensed in archery made a presentation to the school community. Participants explored the historical development of traditional archery and the structural differences between it and Olympic archery in terms of modern rules and equipment.
After the session, a practice range allowed students who had never drawn a bow to make their first shots under the guidance of their more experienced peers. The event provided an opportunity for students to learn from one another, supporting their physical development while strengthening the culture of sharing and unity fostered through sports.
