Beykoz Spiritual Stops Trip
Our preparatory class students explored Beykoz’s spiritual heritage through a cultural tour. The visits began at Akbaba Lodge, where students learned about the spiritual strength behind the conquest of Istanbul and its reflections today. At Kırklar Lodge, they recited Yasin-i Şerif. The tour also included stops at Şeyh Ethem Sırrı Efendi Lodge, Beykoz Mosque, and Onçeşmeler.
The final destination was BİKSAD Ataullah Lodge, where students examined the eight-year Istanbul Mushaf Project, conducted under the auspices of the Presidency and led by our school mosque’s calligrapher Hüseyin Kutlu.
This tour aimed to deepen students’ awareness of historical and spiritual values, observe cultural heritage firsthand, and strengthen their connection to it—creating a meaningful link between past and present.
