Observation Festival and Camp Night at Beykoz Campus!
On Friday, October 11, we organized an observation festival and camp for 8th grade students as part of World Space Week.
Our students set up their own camping tents, burned the campfire with the firewood they collected, and cooked their corn and potatoes in the embers. Our students learned while having fun, had a different experience with our activity on black hole and space objects later in the night. Our students also discovered the mysteries of space by observing the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn at the observatory. We think that the observation festival will be a long lasting memory for our students. The program concluded with the morning prayer and breakfast.
