A VISIT TO BEYKOZ MUNICIPALITY
We visited Beykoz Municipality with our 3rd grade students within the scope of the main idea of our "How We Organize Ourselves" transdisciplinary theme, "In democratic societies, every individual takes part in the decision-making processes in the community". Our students, who met with Beykoz Deputy Mayor Fatih Sağlam at Soğuksu Yücel Çelikbilek Youth Center, learned about the election process of the mayor, the structure of the municipal administration, the city council, and the decision-making in the municipal administration. Their questions about democracy, election and parliament were answered.
