Academicians In The Class - Assoc. Prof. Hatice Doğan Sevinç
Within the scope of the Academicians in the Class program at NUN Schools, we welcomed Hatice Doğan Assoc. Prof. at the ITU Turkish Music State Conservatory. Sevinç, also a kemence player, introduced the Classical Kemençe instrument to the students within the scope of the “I Discover Instruments” unit and shared her musical experiences and knowledge about Turkish music culture with the students. Our students, who perform classical kemence and other instruments, surprised our guest with a repertoire and had the opportunity to practice meşk together on the stage. Our students up-skilled themselves related to Turkish music instruments and culture within our course, where active learning is at the forefront.
