Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) Training Center Trip
Our Grade 2 students visited the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) Training Center as part of the theme How We Organize Ourselves. During the trip, they were informed about the correct actions to adopt during disasters. Students experienced an earthquake simulation in specialized trucks and practiced the “drop–cover–hold on” technique firsthand.
This experience helped students understand the importance of acting in a planned and conscious manner, increased their awareness of safety skills, and deepened their understanding of social solidarity.
