Grade 7 | Bursa Trip

The Middle School Social Studies Department organized a trip to Bursa for 7th-grade students as part of the learning outcomes of the theme “Preserving and Promoting Cultural Heritage.” The aim was to foster awareness of historical and cultural preservation through firsthand observation.
Students explored the historical Cumalıkızık Village, observed traditional architecture, and visited the tombs of Osman Gazi and Orhan Gazi, reflecting on the significance of our history. At Tophane Square, they experienced the city’s historical atmosphere and examined the architectural details and calligraphy of the Grand Mosque. Visits to Koza Han and the Green Tomb offered insights into Bursa’s rich trade and artistic traditions.
This trip strengthened students’ historical consciousness and helped them experience history and culture as living elements, understanding the importance of learning and preserving our historical beauties.
