Grade 4 | Yıldız Palace Trip
As part of the “Who We Are” theme, 4th-grade students visited Yıldız Palace to learn about Sultan Abdulhamid II, observe his living environment, and understand the values that shaped his life during his 33 years at the palace.
Before the visit, students studied the historical context of Sultan Abdulhamid’s era and the palace. Throughout the tour, they explored different sections of the palace, evaluating the connection between the Sultan’s personality and the place he lives in.
This experience enhanced students’ historical awareness and helped them understand the role of environment in character formation. The Yıldız Palace Trip made a meaningful contribution to both of learning and discovery processes of the students.
