March 30 – International Day of Zero Waste

As part of the IB Community Service Project, our students Ayşe, Havva, and Aden shared their work by distributing a Zero Waste Glossary prepared in recognition of March 30, International Day of Zero Waste. The initiative, which aimed to raise awareness about waste management and the efficient use of resources, attracted considerable interest across the school community.
Informative videos displayed on school screens emphasized the theme of “protecting nature through waste transformation.” By the end of the term, the student who demonstrates the highest level of participation in waste collection will be honored with the title “Zero Waste Hero.” This initiative provided a strong foundation for students to develop environmental responsibility and internalize sustainable living practices.
