Beyond Educatıon - What Is Your Hometown?
The hometown is the keystone of our memories, our past and our future. Respecting and valuing it, shows our commitment to our own identity and roots. Are there anything one can not do for their hometown?
We organized Beyond Education Talks which we organized for the 4th time with the contributions of Lacivert Magazine. This month, we hosted Assoc. Dr. Süleyman Seyfi Öğün, Assoc. Dr. Dursun Ali Tökel and Dr. Necdet Subaşı. They contributed on the topic of "Our Stories Makes Us Who We Are" with their knowledge.
The program is shaped around the concept of hometown, which is a deep, meaningful word that represents our roots and identities. Our guests shared their experiences about the "hometowns" where we feel belong and remind us who we are.
They discussed the awareness of unity and our sense of belonging from a mental and emotional point of view, emphasizing that the hometown is not only the land we tread on.
