The winners of the Türkiye Entelektüel Oyunları have been announced!
The “Türkiye Entelektüel Oyunları” (TEO) is an initiative by Beyond Education, held in collaboration with the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of National Education and the NÛN Foundation for Education and Culture. This contest aims to foster the intellectual and cultural development and critical skills of young people who will shape Türkiye's future. The first stage of this nationwide competition took place simultaneously across all 81 provinces of Türkiye on April 19, 2025. A total of 25,000 students applied, immersing themselves in books by esteemed authors, scientists, and historians such as Yunus Emre, Amin Maalouf, Ziya Nur Aksun, Teoman Duralı, Paulo Coelho, Raimondo Luraghi, and many others.
The semi-finals were hosted at NÛN Schools on May 24, 2025, where the most successful teams from each province gathered. Contestants who advanced from the semi-final stage participated in the grand final, held on May 25 at the Turkuvaz Media Center.
The top prize of 200,000 TL was awarded to Hasan Aktepe and Hüseyin Aktepe, students from Muradiye Eryaman Sevgi High School of Science in Ankara.
The 100,000 TL second prize was claimed by Sılanur Aydın and Amine Çobanbaşı, students from Bursa İpekçilik Anatolian High School.
Rabia Karagüzel and Zeynep Neva Yılmaz, from Sakarya Şehit Yılmaz Ercan Imam Hatip High School for Girls, secured third place, winning a 50,000 TL prize.
Teachers who mentored the winning teams throughout the entire competition process were also recognized for their guidance receiving 60,000 TL, 40,000 TL and 20,000 TL respectively.
The contest marks a significant effort to broaden the horizons of thought and knowledge across Türkiye, investing in the intellectual capital of its future generations.
