Miniature Heroes Of Science: DNA & Cell Exhibition
The “Miniature Heroes of Science” exhibition, prepared in line with the curriculum units of the 5th grade’s “Systems and Interactions,” the 7th grade’s “Living Creatures and Life,” and the 8th grade’s “DNA and Genetic Codes,” was enthusiastically visited by the school community. Our students reinforced broad scientific topics, from the discovery of the cell, plant and animal cells, mitosis and meiosis, to the structure of DNA and the concept of adaptation.
The models, carefully prepared by our students and displayed in the school corridors, visually showcased great scientific discoveries and their effects on human life. The exhibition, inspired by the studies and works of scientists, not only reminded students of scientific concepts but also encouraged their passion for developing and exploring scientific thinking skills.
The exhibition once again demonstrated the importance of learning by seeing and experiencing while increasing students’ interest in scientific processes.
