Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden Visit

Our Grade 9 students visited the Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden, examining the scientific and institutional differences between a botanical garden and a standard park. By observing endemic and exotic plant species, students engaged in direct data collection and environmental analysis.
This process supported the development of scientific inquiry skills, enabling them to interpret biological concepts through real-world observation. The experience contributed significantly to their understanding of biodiversity, ecosystem balance, and environmental awareness, reinforcing the connection between theory and practice.
