Serbest Kürsü (Open Forum)

Within the scope of the Serbest Kürsü (Open Forum) activities, high school students shared their research, observations, and cultural insights with the school community. These sessions created a strong platform for students to develop their presentation and public speaking skills, while engaging their peers through thought-provoking and informative discussions.
Throughout the week, students explored a wide range of topics.
Ebrar Dilara presented her research on Türkiye’s geological structure, offering a detailed explanation of why dinosaur fossils have not been discovered in this region. In another session, held in connection with Foundations Week.
Süeda Berin, Hüseyin Ege, and Ali Osman presented “Our Foundation Culture from Past to Future,” drawing attention to the significance of the waqf tradition and its role in shaping cultural and social life.
Preparatory class students Hiranur and Mahinur Azra shared their reflections on the “Remains: Palestine Exhibition,” which they visited with the Theatre and Poetry Club, offering a thoughtful perspective on their emotional engagement.
Through these experiences, students transformed their ideas into tangible outcomes and developed confidence in presenting their work to an audience. The process supported the growth of productivity, self-expression, and presentation skills, while encouraging students to take ownership of their artistic journeys.
