Forest Week Activities

As part of Forest Week, a hands‑on experience titled “The Forest Through Five Senses” was conducted to strengthen students’ connection with nature and highlight its restorative power. The station‑based activities enabled students to engage the ecosystem through all five senses, seamlessly blending theoretical knowledge with direct experience.
The program progressed through themed stations designed to recognize what nature presents: a forest-bathing station fostered mental calm by listening to natural sounds; a scent station introduced the forest’s aromatic textures; touch stations offered tactile exploration of branches and plant surfaces; and leaf‑frame observations focused on the distinctive details of tree species. The day concluded with a tasting station symbolizing the abundance of soil and trees.
By enhancing observation skills and sensory awareness, the activity supported long‑term environmental consciousness and fostered a deeper commitment to nature conservation.
