Laylat Al-Miraj Celebration

Across the primary, middle, and high school levels, Laylat al-Miraj (Miraç Kandili) was observed through programs held throughout the day, culminating in an evening gathering at NÛN Mosque, which completed the circle of worship and togetherness. 

Primary School: The program began with a recitation from the Qur’an, followed by Amana Er‑Rasul (the final verses of Sūrat al‑Baqarah). A poem titled “I Saw al‑Aqsa in My Dream” was recited, and a brief talk on the Mi‘râj took place. The salat al‑zuhr was performed in congregation, followed by supplications and salawat, bringing the program to a close. 

Middle School: The program, held at the mosque, included Qur’an recitation and a talk on the meaning and significance of the Miraj. The gathering concluded with collective prayers. 

High School: The day began with a salat al‑fajr gathering at NÛN Mosque, followed by tasbihat and a short talk titled “What is the Miraj?” The program continued with nasheed, tahlil (kalimat al‑tawhid), and salawat, and concluded with the Ismal‑A‘zam supplication and the recitation of ‘Ashr‑i Sharif (a passage from the Qur’an).  

In the evening, the school community reconvened at NÛN Mosque. Beginning with the call to prayer and iftar, the program included the evening prayer in congregation, additional Qur’an recitation, and a talk, followed by night prayer. The gathering continued with salat al‑tasbih and collective prayers, growing further with the participation of alumni and parents. 

With fellowship at iftar and voluntary night worship, the mosque lights remained on throughout the night, marking an atmosphere of heartfelt devotion.
