Laylat al-Raghaib InterSchool Celebrating Program

To mark the arrival of the three sacred months, NÛN Schools organized a Laylat al-Raghaib program attended by the entire school community. The event began with a warm atmosphere of sharing, as younger students visited older peers in their classrooms to exchange greetings, reviving the cultural practice of "kandilleşme,” wishing good deeds for their night, and strengthening bonds across grade levels.
Later in the day, the school community gathered for an iftar meal, followed by a spiritually enriching program held in the mosque setting. Later in the day, the school community gathered for an iftar meal, followed by a spiritually enriching program held in the mosque setting. Through shared treats and warm wishes, students experienced the cultural tradition of "kandilleşme" firsthand.
Through these experiences, students not only deepened their understanding of cultural and religious heritage but also strengthened their sense of community and empathy. The day allowed students to internalize the importance of cultural and religious traditions.
