Nature's Awakening Event

Our primary school students recently enjoyed a week-long learning experience deeply intertwined with nature, as part of our "Nature's Awakening" event. Each day began with morning exercises, a breakfast, and circle time held in our forest village. These activities allowed our students to start their days feeling refreshed and peaceful.

In storytelling sessions, where books were carefully selected for each grade level, students honed both their listening and imaginative skills. Through engaging nature games, the pace of physical activity increased, fostering stronger group cooperation and interaction with the natural environment.

During the lunch break, students attended the "germinating seeds" activity where students intimately connected with the soil and experienced the cycle of nature firsthand. The week culminated with the "Sing for Nature" activity, a powerful moment where our choir sang the song "Tohumlar Fidana" aloud in the schoolyard, beautifully reinforcing the students' love for nature.

Through these diverse activities, our aim was to enable students to achieve multifaceted growth, including forging a deeper connection with nature, developing environmental awareness, enhancing sensory perception, and learning to produce things collaboratively. Simultaneously, this time spent in nature also strengthened the students' sense of attention, self-regulation, and responsibility within the community.
