NÛN EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

The fundamental educational philosophy of NÛN Schools is based on the idea of developing the NUN Personality on this unique foundation with an understanding that is aware of the innate characteristics of every child.

While building our school, we thought that with the NÛN Personality, our students would think in the axis of mind, take responsibility in the axis of willpower, become a pioneer in doing good in the axis of emotions, and enhance in the axis of action.

NÛN students should have witnessed and taken responsibility for the difficult struggle of raising "Hearts of Mind" as well as having "Hearts of Mind". Because NÛN students should have a broader perspective than just today, this geography, and this human community. They would swear to be brave hearts, who know themselves as they know universal values, who respect and create respect, who stand up for abandoned principles, and who question the established orders that have memorized wrongs.

While searching for answers to the question of which mission we support these values that we have taken into our vision, we examined the PYP (Primary Years Programme), MYP (Middle Years Programme), and DP (Diploma Programme), which are subprograms of the International Baccalaureate Organization. This system questions "How" as the "What" question and shapes around a value-oriented approach. It is the most compatible program with NÛN Philosophy, making it a tool for our purpose. In its own words, "IB helps schools to educate well-rounded students with character who respond to challenges with optimism and open-mindedness, have confidence in their own identities, make ethical decisions, embrace our common humanity together with others, and are ready to apply what they have learned in the real world, in complex and unpredictable situations."

Students with the NÛN Personality take their power from knowledge and do not claim the power of what they do not know. They value the knowledge itself, and this awareness is reflected in their behavior. They gain the ability to manage themselves while connecting emotions and actions together and ensuring harmony between them. At our school, we are committed to providing our students with consistent support throughout their journey towards long-term personality development.
