Diploma Programme (DP)

To support our students' academic and intellectual growth, we have created an enriched curriculum at NÛN Schools that integrates IB standards with a core focus on NÛN Values. Our primary objective is to raise young people who are thinkers, communicators, inquirers, and knowledgeable, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-taking, balanced, and reflective individuals. We believe these characteristics represent a broad range of human competencies and responsibilities that extend far beyond academic success.

Through the IBDP, we aim to educate students who will make our world a better and more peaceful place, equipped with 21st-century skills and an internationally valid diploma. NÛN Schools has been an authorized IB World School since December 2018.

In grades 9 and 10, we guide our students through a preparation and orientation process to strengthen their core competencies. At the end of grade 10, we help them make informed choices about their academic paths. Starting in grade 11, our students enroll in either the IBDP or the national YKS (Turkish Higher Education Institutions Exam) Program.

The IBDP is a two-year program for grades 11 and 12 that follows global standards and is approved by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of National Education. When our students choose this path, they engage in in-depth academic research, analysis, critical thinking, and academic writing. DP allows students to specialize in the fundamental areas of academic literacy, combining theory and practice.
